telligible. Your book undoubtedly is worth
having. "

Educational Inspector, Berar.
I have gone through the proof-sheets
of your work. I am glad to say that the
translation is intelligible and simple. You
have selected a useful book for your transla-
tion. Marathi readers ought to patronize
your work more than translations of novels,
(Sd.) C. V. Vaidya, M. A. L. L, B.
Frant Judge, Ujjain.
In returning the 3rd. Vol. of your
Manuscript Translation of " Our Colonies &
India," I am glad to say that I have gone
through it, and found it very instructive and
interesting at the same time. The style is
plain and pure, and is sure to attract a large
number of the Marathi readers. The subject
is grand and most instructive, and as it is
intimately connected with the rise and pro-
sperity of our rulers, it is quite necessary
that the book, which treats of it, must be
ithin the reach of all the Marathi readers.
