by so doing supplied a long felt want in the case of Hindu gentlemen who were new to this station or had no house of their own. I firmly believe that Mr. Dixit is deserving of every encouragement and support.

Dattatraya Kamalakar Dixit, has given me good satisfaction in his lately commencing his agency business to secure houses and bungalows. He is very honest and obliging. He also supplies furniture and other household materials. I wish him success in his future prospects. I recommend, all gentlemen who deal with him will get every satisfaction.

Mr. Dattatraya Kamalakar Dixit having applied to me for my remarks as to the way in which he has been carrying out the orders from time to time made on him for the different supplies at Mahableshwar, I endorse with pleasure what, Mr. Bhide has said. I have always found him very prompt and attentive to every order entrusted to him. Any visitor of the hills will, I dare say, find in him a very useful guide and agent and at
