[ ८७ ] महिपतराव कवडे यास सनदकी आमीरबेग याणें हुजूर येऊन विदित केले की आपण बराणपुराहून वाटमार्गी चाकर राहवयास औरंगाबाद प्रांते येत इ. स. १७५२-५३. सलास खमसेन असतां मार्गों जानोजी ढमढेरे याचे गांव मोजें डामरूल परगणे आडामया व अलफ. वद येथे वस्तीला राहिले. त्यास गांवकरी यांनी चाळीस घोडी लुटून रबिलावल ७. घेतली आहेत. तें साहेबी कृपाळू होऊन सोडून देवावी ह्मणून. त्यावरून ही सनद तुझांस सादर केली असे. तरी यांची घोडी लुटून घेतली असतील, त्याची तुझी चौकशी करुन सदरील घोड्यांपैकी पांच घोडी उत्तम थोर असतील ती घेऊन पागेस जमा धरणे. बाकी सोडून देववणे. गांवकरी यांनी घोडी घेतली आहेत ती तुह्मी आपणाजवळ सोडून आणून त्यांपैकी पांच घोडी सरकारची पागेस जमा करणे, बाकी सोडून देववणे ह्मणोन सनद १. रसानगी चिठ्ठी. ( 86 ) A fine has been imposed on the village of mouza Pathare Khurd Tarf Belapur for the following reason:A. D. 1752 53. The property stolen was recovered, and made over to the owner. A sum of Rs. 750 was ordered to be levied from the villagers as fine through Visaji Krishna under the Command of Ragho Khanderao. (87) Amir Beg represents to the Huzur that while on his way from Buranpur via Aurangabad, he halted at Damrule in Pargana Adawad, a A. D. 1752 53. village belonging to Janoji Dhamdhere, and that while there, the villagers forcibly took away from him 40 horses. He prays that the Peshwa may graciously be pleased to order their restoration. You are therefore directed to inquire into the matter. Out of the horses that may have been so taken away, you should select five excellent animals of good stature, and retain them for Government. The rest should be restored to the owner.
