I have gone over a considerable por- tion of “हिंदुस्थान आणि ब्रिटिश वसाहतो, " - being an adaptation of Pro: Cyril Ransome's ★★ Onr Colonies and India. ” The original is in the form of an address; but Mr. Natekar has done well in giving it the form of a narrative in Marathi. On the whole, the work bas been fairly well done; and as to the importance of the subject to us all, and especially to pure Marathi renders, there can be no two opinions on the subject.
