कार as उकार, ककार, &c. १७ A, as a contraction of on, in or an (old ) and meaning 'in process of', 'in the act,' 'into,' 'to' when prefixed to verbal substantives is rendered by the suffix आयास, आयाला or आवयास, आवयाला as added to the root; as, Abegging मागायास, मागायाला, मागावयास, मागावयाला. Ahunting, abuilding, adying, alaughing are other examples of this class of combinations.
