७ न्यायखाते (अ) दिवाणी.-7 Administration of Justice (a) Civil १५ रमजान ६ एकूण छत्तीसशे सवाचौपन रुपये चवल व गल्ला सव्वासोळा मण दोन पायली निठवें व वजन आठ मण एक शेर व शेंदूर पुडा एक येणेप्रमाणे तुह्मी यादी समजाविली. ऐशास महादाजी गोविंद कुळकर्णी मौजे मजकूर यांनी विनंती केली की, कानुशा जिवंत असतां मोजे मजकुरीं श्री शिद्धेश्वराचे देवालय बांधावयास एक हजार रुपये आह्माजवळ दिले आहेत. ते सदरहू सदरचे बेरजेंत आले आहेत, तरी बाकी ऐवज राहिला तो वगैरे जिन्नस देवावा. देवालय श्रीचे बांधों. त्याजवरून मनास आणून सदरहू प्रमाणे रुपये व जिन्नस महादाजी गोविंद कुळकर्णी यांजकडे देविला आहे, तरी मशारनिल्हेकडे देणे. देवालय तयार होय ते गोष्टी करणे. लोकांकडे नक्त व गल्ला कर्ज येणें आहे तो वसूल करून देववणे ह्मणोन सनद १. [२४ ] शंकरराव देशमुख परगणे संगमनेर याचे नांवें निवाडपत्र लिहून दिले की. सटवोजी दिघा तळेगांवकर चाकर सरकार याने हुजूर विदित केलें की इ. स. १७५०-५१ इहिदे खमसेन परगणे मजकूरची देशमुखी कदीम आमच्या वडिलांची आहे. याविषयीं मया व अलफ. सनद पत्रही आहे ह्मणोन. त्यावरून तुह्मास तलब करून हूजूर आणिलें. दिघा मजकुराची तहकीकात मनास आणितां चारशे वर्षे पर्यंत कोठे दखलगिरी अगर नावही नाही. कागदपत्र दाखविला तो गलुफी दिसून आला. तुझी पहिल्यापासून आहां. दिघा मजकुराचा लाझ्या नाहीं असें जाणून तुह्मांवर कृपाळू होऊन हे निवाडपत्र सादर केले असे. तरी परगणे मजकरची देशमुखी सुदामत प्रमाणे करून परगणे मजकूरची आबादी व कामकाज करीत जाणे ह्मणून निवाडपत्र लिहून देऊन शेरणी करार केली. ते जमाः He had advanced him Rs. 1000 one thousand for erecting a temple of the idol Sidheshwar. This sum has been shown in the above details and he prays that the remaining property of the deceased should also be made over to him for the same purpose. Having taken into consideration his prayer, it is directed that the property be made over to the said Mahadaji Govind Kulkarni for the said purpose that measures be adopted towards the completion of the temple; aud that the cash and grain due to the deceased be recovered and made over to Mahadaji. ( 24 ) A decree passed in favor of Shankarrao Deshmukh of Pargana San gam ner to the following effect :One Satwoji Digha of Talegaon in A. D. 1750-51. the service of Government represented to the Peshwa that the Deshmukhi watan of the said Pargana belonged to his ancestors from former times, and that there were in his possession Sanads and letters in connection with it. Shankarrao was then summoned and brought to the Huzur. On enquiry into the matter it was found that the said Digha had no connection with the Watan for the last 400 years, that there was no entry of his name (in the accounts) and that the document he had produced was a forgery. Taking these circumstane into consideration Government were pleased to decree that the said Shankaran should not to anioy the Deshmukhi Watan of the Pargana aforesaid, to malia the Pargana populated and flourishing, and to manage the affairs of the same. It was ordered that the said Shankrrao should pay to Government a nazar, of Rs 5001
