I have gone through a considerable
portion of your manuscript copy of "Our
Colonies & India. " The style is easy and
simple, and the Marathi reading public
ought to feel highly obliged to you for giv-
ing them an easy access to such a store of
useful and instructive inforination as your
book contains on questions of the greatest
importance. I trust that your book will
be a very valuable addition to the verna-
cular literature, and that it deserves the
fullest patronage from those for whom it
is intended.
I have read a considerable portion of
your हिंदुस्थान आणि ब्रिटिश वसाहती. The
story is told in an interesting manner, and
will be of great use to Marathi readers, in as
much as it gives the events in a connected
series without puzzling the reader with a
crowd of dates.
