In India, approximately 6 lakh female foetuses are killed even before their birth. In Maharashtra, the number is about 53 Thousand. This number is larger than the total number of deaths caused by natural disasters. Even the terrorist attacks in India don't cause so many deaths. This is nothing less than an undeclared war against the entire women race in India, nol am not exaggerating, the numbers tell us exactly that. We are fighting a war and the problem is the ones who are supposed to save their lives are taking them away. We are not fighting against the doctors. In a country where thousands of people die because of not getting proper medication and lack of doctors, we want good doctors to come forward and help us. We are not fighting against a profession, we are fighting against a certain type of mentality for which our entire society and social order is responsible. We are not happy seeing these doctors getting arrested but we can't deal with this cruelty. We have no personal deal to settle with these doctors. Such mentality is prevalent in Indian Psyche so much that often we go to clinics for regular visits and find doctors conducting sex-determination tests. It's heartbreaking! In 2010 legal action was taken against Dr.Munde's hospital and in 2011, a piece of very disturbing news came into the light which shook the entire Maharashtra state.
