His wife Taslima during her pregnancy (After marriage she changed her name to Prerna Valmik Bhilare) was a part of our Sting operation in Islampur, Karmala and Jamkhed. Because of her experience, we decided to take her to 'Parali' she agreed to tag along too. In the meantime, I had to go to Delhi for some work. Gopinath Munde, a famous political leader of Parali, was an MP at Central Government at that time. I asked for his appointment to talk about 2 things, in particular, one regarding Satara Central Bank scam and second about Dr.Sudam Munde. He gave a positive answer regarding the bank scam but refused to help regarding Dr.Sudam Munde. He said 'I won't be able to do anything. I clearly told him that it would be impossible to stop the operation once it starts. But still, I couldn't understand what he actually meant, whether he didn't want to interfere or he could not do anything to help us. The smartphone era was yet to hit the Indian market. We bought a new Java phone and a Sim-card for the sting. Our plan was to call my number from the new phone while conducting the sting to record every conversation that happens inside the closed rooms. For safety reasons, we decided to stay at 'Ambejogai'. We had good relations with the local 'Manavlok' organisation. who assured us of any support if needed. After staying in a hotel for the night, we reached Parali at 9 am in the morning. My plan was to drop Shaila, Kailash, Babalu, Taslima and Valmik at Parali and leave for 'Nanded' for a workshop. The tension was growing and was visible enough. We were trying to crack jokes on Valmik who was puking because of the motion sickness. His wife was pregnant but he was the one who was puking!
