Opinions of Medical Profession. Dr. Kalokhe is to be congratulated on bringing out his book. «called BfF HET. The book Contains a lot of useful information about the various disorders due to indigestion. Dr. Kalokhe has put his ideas in a clear, lucid and concise manner. It gives me great pleasure to recommend it to the public. I hope it will have a wide circulation which it deserves to have, and so enable Jr. Ralokhe to fulfil his aim viz, of putting before the public some of the essentials necessary to keep good health. (Sd.) S, R, SHIRGAOKAR, M. D. (London.) ܕ ܨ let gives me very great pleasure indeed, to state that I had gone through the manuscript of the treatise on “sift-Hier” or “Dyspepsia" written by Mr. G. P. Kalokhe, that I found it to contain an amount of very useful and interesting information on the subject, written in a systematic manner and in an easy and intelligible style. The treatise is meant mainly for the use of the laity and I have no doubt that it would serve the purpose exceedingly well. The disease of Dyspepsia has become so very rampant in these days that a treatise of the kind written by Mr. Kalokhe "describing in a lucid manner, the causation and treatment of the disease was essentially wanted in the Marathi language, and Mr. Kalokhe deserves to be congratulated on having brought it out. It now rests with the public to appreciate the work and to give it the welcome it deserves. I have known Mr. Kalokhe for nearly seven years. He was a lecturer on Wagbhat, Nursing and Practicle Pharmacy at the Aryan Medical School and was attached for some time as Resident Physician to the Ayurvedic Hospital of Bombay. He has had sufficient opportunities, besides, to observe various cases of the ailment, which forms the subject of the present treatise and he deserves to be thanked for putting forth his "experiences in a book form so very intelligently. Mr. Kalokhe's attempt, which is the first of its kind so far as I am aware, deserves the full support of the public, which, if given to him he would be encouraged to bring forth for their benefit many more treatises of the kind on different diseases, which are found to be very comimon in these days, doing a great deal of mischief on account of the general ignorance prevailing among the public regarding them.
