विकिस्रोत च्या नवीन मुखपृष्ठ तयार होत आहे. तरी आताच्या मुखपृष्ठामध्ये बदल करू नयेत किंवा भर घालू नये. ही नम्र विनंती. नवीन मुखपृष्ठ २४ फेब्रुवारी पर्यंत पूर्ण करायचा प्रयत्न आहे.

प्रचालकपदा साठी विनंती[संपादन]
मी सध्या ऑनलाईन कमीतकमी रहाण्याची शक्यता असली आणि प्रचालक पद माझ्याकडून कमीत कमी वापरले जाईल असे असले तरी नवागतांना सहकार्याची आणि सहाय्याची कमतरता आढळून आल्यामुळे क्वचीत हस्तक्षेपाची गरज भासेल असे दिसते. आपणास माझी विनंती मान्य असल्यास समर्थन करावे ही नम्र विनंती.

Continuing the sysop[संपादन]
Have been working on with the required setting of getting the mr wikisource, setting up the required extensions, namespaces etc. Requesting to continue with the sysop permissions.

I am sysop on Marathi Wikipedia and working continuously on Wikisource and doing lot of sysop work including the basic set ups. Undersigned usually works on support mechanism for marathi language WMF wikis and always put discipline in Wikipedia. Would like to request permanent sysopship for Marathi Language Wikisource - Mvkulkarni23

Dear Shantanoo, you can not remove the negative vote only for the reason that the person has not given justification for the same. Giving reason is not mandetory during voting. You may write on Neetin Kadu's page and clarify him the need and take him to confidence. Also you may understand why he is saying NO. There could some real reason or some idea with him.....

Page deletions[संपादन]
Sysops will be deleting the pages directly (instead of putting page deletion template) if page is created in incorrect namespace. E.g. साहित्यिक:तुकाराम is correct and not तुकाराम
Global AbuseFilter[संपादन]
AbuseFilter is a MediaWiki extension used to detect likely abusive behavior patterns, like pattern vandalism and spam. In 2013, Global AbuseFilters were enabled on a limited set of wikis including Meta-Wiki, MediaWiki.org, Wikispecies and (in early 2014) all the "small wikis". Recently, global abuse filters were enabled on "medium sized wikis" as well. These filters are currently managed by stewards on Meta-Wiki and have shown to be very effective in preventing mass spam attacks across Wikimedia projects. However, there is currently no policy on how the global AbuseFilters will be managed although there are proposals. There is an ongoing request for comment on policy governing the use of the global AbuseFilters. In the meantime, specific wikis can opt out of using the global AbuseFilter. Hello everyone,
It gives us great pleasure to inform that the Wikisource Advance Training 2019 programme organised by CIS-A2K is going to be held from 11 October & 13 October 2019.This year CIS-A2K is seeking expressions of interest from interested communities in India for hosting the Wikisource Advance Training 2019.Wikisource Advance Training is a 3 (three) days residential training program for which attempts to aims to groom experienced Wiki-librarians for Indic language Wikisource to proofread even better quality content on Wikisource.
If you're interested in hosting the program, Following are the per-requests to propose a bid:
- Active local community which is willing to support conducting the event.
- At least 4 active Wikimedian ( not specific for Wikisource contributor) community members should come together and propose the city. They should reside in the city/nearby or states.
- Women Wiki-librarian in organizing team is highly recommended.
- City should have at least a national airport.
- Venue and accommodations should be available for the event dates.
- Participants size of Wikisource Advance Training generally will be around 22.
- Needed a venue which will have good internet connectivity and conference space for the above mentioned size of participants.
- Discussions/announcement with the local community by mailing list/village pump.
For participation in this program, you should apply here:
- The selection will be done by each Indic Wikisource community.
- We may select maximum 2 (two) Wiki-librarian from each language community.
- Eligibility criteria for supporting a candidate for a participation: He/she should have a minimum 50 proofread in their languages Wikisource before 15th August 2019.
- The applicant for participation in this program should have a minimum 500 proofread in their languages Wikisource before 15th August 2019.
- Self nomination can be done at with a new section.
- We encourage for female participants.
